Jack Thackeray

Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Physiology
Bachelor of Exercise Science & Sports Science

My passion is promoting the benefits of physical activity and getting people motivated to look after their own health. I am just as passionate about rehabilitation and chronic disease management, as I am encouraging healthy and able people to participate in sports and being active by adopting a healthy lifestyle attitude. The sense of achievement comes from doing what you can, rather than focusing on limitations or comparing yourself to other people.”

I graduated from Federation University in 2016 with a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Exercise Science. I am an accredited clinical exercise physiologist and currently work at multiple locations in the Bellarine Peninsula.

I enjoy promoting physical activity and the benefits of partaking in it regularly, and believe exercise is the best and most accessible form of medicine.

I have a strong interest in neurological conditions and the methods of rehabilitation, and enjoy the challenge and the rewarding feeling of helping clients with conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke and acquired brain injuries.

I have always lived in Geelong and really enjoy being active and participating in as many sports as I can. I love getting outdoors and spending time travelling and exploring unique places.
